Nursing Placements in U.S.A. – For Degree/Diploma Holders Only 

 


All nursing applicants must have NCLEX-RN Licence to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.A. and the U.S health authority has huge requirements for nurses, but U.S employers are not able to hire them until they complete the migration formality even though international nurses are available globally with all credentials.

The NCLEX-RN exam will be conducted by CGFNS Authority of the U.S.A. in different parts of the world.India has four to write the examination. Applicants can write the exam in India in any of those four centres which are close to the applicant.

To obtain the eligibility letter to write the exam will take 4 to 6 months.To get a Green Card will take 18 months after filing. To file for a Green Card, nurses must have NCLEX-RN plus IELTS 6.5 score (speaking must be 7 score).CGFNS NOT required.

STUDY & WORK PROGRAM – For Nurses & Nursing students

Recently we have launched a Nursing program with New York University. Indian nurses or nursing students, can come to U.S.A. on student visa (September batch admission opens). At the same time they are permitted work for 20 Hrs a week. They can work extra hours on Saturday, Sunday & Holidays if they wish.

Program duration - 2-Year applicants get hands-on experience with hospitals while they are studying.They will be awarded Associates Degree in Nursing upon completion of the program.

Program Tuition fees – US$7230/- year (Second year fees may be paid  by part-time earnings). Tuition fees are paid directly to the university for each semester (6 months fee).

Admission Requirements- 60% average in science, marks in Higher Secondary (12th Division) or Diploma / Degree in General Nursing marks must be presented for admission.

IELTS – Overall score 6 and speaking must be 6.

Accreditation – Applicants are eligible to write the NCLEX-RN in U.S.A. at any time after their arrival in New York.

Indo-Can will process the application with New York Nursing Board to obtain the eligibility letter to write the NCLEX-RN and Registration for Admission for the program at the same. Eligibility will be granted in three months.

Employment – Applicants will be employed as RN/LPN in U.S.A. after passing the exam and completing the program.

Visa status – Student visa for entry, work permit for employment. Ultimately transfer to Permanent Residents visas (Green Card).
